Improper Insulation
|
|
INSULATION PROBLEM:
Insulation must be properly installed in order to do its job. If the insulating material gets compressed or moist it will transfer heat less efficiently. If the material fills only a portion of the void then there is a greater chance of heat getting to the cool side as well. Improper insulating may result in increased heat and cooling loads and diminished comfort.

Highly efficient cellulose
insulation is manufactured from recycled paper and is the least polluting and most energy efficient type of
insulation. |
|
Cellulose insulation has the highest percentage of post-consumer recycled content. The fiberglass industry
averages 35% recycled glass, while the cellulose industry currently averages a minimum of 75% recycled content. | | | |
